A double room at a middle class hotel costs from about $90
a night. A three course meal in a restaurant starts at $20

Can it be a problem for older people to rent a car? I've
heard that if you are older than 70 it can be problem to
rent a car in France and also Italy?
Answer:
Never heard about problems for seniors to rent cars in
France and Italy. But generally it can be hard for people
over 70 to rent a car in USA, Great Britain and Ireland. Our

company when you make your booking so you don’t end up in

I'm going to Gran Canaria in December and I wonder if it
rains there during that month? And if the weather is bad do
you have any other destination tips? I'm flying out from
London, UK.
Answer:
According to the BBC's weather service it rains about 8 days
in Las Palmas om Gran Canaria in December. The two months
with most rain on Gran Canaria are December and January. At
this time of the year you'll find more realible weather in
Kap Verde and Egypt.

I'm an Englishmen going for a weeks holiday to Mallorca and
looking for a nice beach, do you have any tips?
Answer:
Why not try Playa Formentor. It’s a long but thin beach
where a forest full of evergreens opens up to the sea. The
water there invites to both bathing and snorkling. At Playa
Formentor you'll also find Mallorcas oldest luxary hotel,
Hotel Formentor. You'll also find a really nice and almost
breath taking view over Pollenca Bay. This beach is very
popular and there are a few beach restaurants and the beach
is still not overly exploted and parking is about £3.

eating . You are close to all entertainment there. That
includes everything from sporting events such as hockey
(Team Canada has stayed at this hotel while playing in a
tournament) to concerts and exhibitions and much, much more.
There is even a shopping center there. The rooms at the

Answer: Yes we can. Our team recommends the

11B, 1620 Köbenhavn and can be reached by

walk from the Tivoli (amusement park) and
the central train station (huvudbangården).
It is also about a 10 minute walk to the
well known shopping street called Ströget.
Copenhagen is an easy city to
walk in as most things are very close and
the sidewalks are nice and wide. For the
attractions that are a little further away,
you can take the bus or a taxi. Rooms at

room and this includes breakfast and free
wireless internet connection.
A cheaper hotel alternative our team
can recommend is Comfort Hotel

Rooms in Denmark and Sweden are
cheaper on the weekends as there are
many people that travel with work
during the week.

Malmö which airport should I
fly to?
Answer: You can
choose to fly either to
Sturup (Malmö Airport) or to
Kastrup (Copenhagen
Airport). From Sturup you
can take a bus called
"Flygbuss" (airport bus) or
a cab to get to Malmö. From
Kastrup you can take the
train called "Öresundståg"
to Malmö Station or you can
take a taxi over the bridge
to Sweden but that's much
more expensive than the
train.
Question: How much does
it cost to drive over the
bridge between Denmark and
Sweden?

drive over Öresundbron
between Malmö and

We are going to Denmark and
have heard that it can be
difficult to pay with Visa
or Mastercard is this true?
Answer:
Yes, unfortunately. Many
small shops, restaurants,
coffee shops and small
hotels only accept Dankort
(Danish bank card). Some of
the other smaller businesses
that do accept Visa or
Mastercard may add a fee of
5.75%.

Are there any ATP Tennis
tournaments in Sweden during
the summer?
Answer:
Yes it is. In early July
each year Swedish Open is
played in Båstad in the
south of Sweden. Båstad is
situated 30 minutes south of
Halmstad and about a 90 min
drive from the Copenhagen
airport. There are many
celebrities visiting Båstad
during Tennis Week with lots
of parties and even the Rix
FM Festival. Which is a free
concert for everybody.

How are the prices in Italy
compared to the USA?
Answer:
On average it is about 5 -
6% more expensive in Italy.

depending on where you are
in Italy.

true?

Yes it can be very hard to
get tickets. The easiest
teams to get tickets for in
London are West Ham United
and Chelsea FC. West Ham
United play at Upton Park
and can be contacted by

easier to get tickets to
West Ham and Chelsea if you

It is virtually impossible
to get tickets to Arsenal if
you don’t want to buy them
from a ticket agent and pay
around $200 each.

taking a day trip to
Estonia’s capital
Tallin. Which
ferries sail that
route? How much does
it cost?

Silja Line, Tallink
and Viking Line are
the biggest on this
route. If you are
going on a day trip
its both faster and
cheaper to travel
with one of the
faster boats such as
Eckerö line or Linda
Line. A day ticket
from Helsinki to
Tallin costs about
$40.00.

Answer: Stansted has its own train station which is located underneath the terminal building. This station is served by the Stansted Express. The Stansted Express runs every fifteen minutes to every half an hour, depending on the time of day. You can also take one of the several buses that operate from Stansted airport coach station. There is also the option of Terravision shuttle that runs hourly, during day time hours, between Stansted and London Victoria.

Answer: There is West Ham United who play their games in Upton Park; Chelsea FC who plays at Stanford Bridge; Tottenham Hotspur who plays at White Heart Lane; Arsenal FC whos home arena is Emirates Stadium.
Question: Could you recommend a Museum in London with free admission? Answer: We recommend Imperial War Museum that has free admission. It is a museum about all of the wars that the British Empire has been involved in. You can see a lot of things there from World War 2 air planes to tanks from Operation Desert Storm.

Question: Are there any good football teams in Copenhagen? Answer: Yes, there is FC Copenhagen, called FCK. They play in the Danish first division called SAS-ligan. Last season (06-07) they for the first time qualified for the Champions League after they knocked out Ajax Amsterdam in final qualifier. They play their homegames at Parken where also the Danish National Team play there home games.
Most well known players are Swedish International Marcus Allbäck and Canadian Atiba Hutchison. Tickets are from about $17 for a regular league game. |
