10 things to do in London:

1) Watch a soccer game! London has a lot of good teams. Arsanal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham all play in the Premier League. In Division One, called CocaCola Championship, you will find: QPR, Charton and Crystal Palace. Football tickets are expensive £30-£40 for a Premier League game and £20-£30 in Division One. It’s easier to get tickets for the Championship than the Premier League. In the Premier League West Ham and Chelsea can be litte bit easier to get tickets to, than to Arsenal and Tottenham.

2) Just walk the through the city. For example, start at Tottenham Court Road and walk through Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, 10 Downing street, House Of Parlament, Big Ben and walk over Westminister Bridge. And if your not tired already start walking along the Themes south bank in the direction of the Tower Bridge. Here you also get a nice wiev of the old cruiser HMS Belfast that lays as a museum in thes Themes. You can also see The Tower Of London from here and of course the beautiful Tower Bridge.

3) See the city from above by taking a tour in The London Eye. The cost is £15 for an adult and The British Airways London Eye is located on the south bank of the Themes at Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7PB. 4) Visit the Imperial War Museum and really feel the history of UKs warfare. And its free admission. You can see a lot of things there, from World War 2 airplanes to tanks from Operation Desert Storm. The museum is located on Lambeth Road, London SE1 6HZ. Phone: +44 (0)207 416 5320 / 5321. The nearest tube station is Lamberth North on the Bakerloo Line. Opening Hours are 10.00am - 6.00pm (except 24, 25 and 26 December). This museum is a favorite among some of our team members!

 

5) Take a guided walking tour, for example the Jack The Ripper Walk, in the footsteps of Jack The Ripper. You’ll even visit an old pub where some of the victims were last seen alive. 6) Visit the British Museum (free admission) on Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG. Nearest tube stations are Holborn (Central line and Piccadilly line), Tottenham Court Road (Central line and Northern line – Charing Cross branch) Russell Square (Piccadilly line) Goodge Street (Northern line – Charing Cross branch), Covent Garden (Piccadilly line), Euston (Northern line and Victoria line). Phone: +44 20 7323 8000 / 8299. You can spend hours in the museum looking at everything from mummies from Egypt to Vikings of Scandinavia and explore the lifes of the Greeks and Romans.

 

7) Go down in the Cabinet War Rooms. It was from here that Great Britain was directed during the second world war. You’ll see both Churchills bedroom, the map room and the Transatlantic Telephone War Room. The War Cabinet Rooms are located on Clive Steps, King Charles Street, London SW1. Phone: +44 2079306961. Admission price for an adult is £11. This place is a favorite London spot for a member of our team.

 

8) Do a real shopping spree on Oxford Street, Londons main shopping street. Here you’ll find almost everything that you want to buy. You can also find some of our teams favorite stores suchs as music stores like HMV, Virgin Megastore and sports shop JJB. If you go to Oxford Street by tube you can use Oxford Street, Bond Street och Tottenham Court Road Stations which are all on the central line.

 

9) See a real war ship! Visit HMS Belfast that lays in the Themes as a museum. HMS Belfast is a cruiser that served both in the second world war and in the Korean War. HMS Belfast played a leading part in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst, and in the Normandy Landings. She was in service with the Royal Navy until 1965. She was saved for the nation in 1971 as an unique reminder of Britain’s naval heritage. You will find the entrance to the ship located on Morgans Lane, Tooley Street, London SE1. Admission is £9.95 and you can get more info by phone +44 207 4030719. If you go by tube use London Bridge Station on the Jubilee and Northern Line. HMS Belfast is open daily exept 24, 25, 26 December and opening hours are 10 am - 6 pm (March to October) and 10 am - 5 pm ( November - February).

 

10) Pay a horrifiing visist to the London Dungeon!  The London Dungeon is lika a museum of horror where you will get to experience things lika Jack The Ripper, The Great Fire Of London and The Great Plague. Be preperad to get really scared because sometimes it can be very realistic and gorey. The London Dungeon is situated 100 meters from London Bridge tube station which is on the Jubilee and Northern Line. For booking of tickets phone +44 871 360 2049. If you want to avoid the really long lines, it is recommended to arrive before opening.
